Thank you for your interest. Please understand that this photography web site is a commercial source of images.You do not actually "buy" an image, rather you license the right to use it in a specified manner. The price for each image depends on how you are going to use the image.

The right to use the image remains with the purchaser of the license and can not be transferred, sub-licensed or re-sold to another party.

If you use an image on a web page, you must place a copyright notice on the same page (copyright Peter Langer) to deter unauthorized copying.

Peter Langer - Associated Media Group will not be liable to the purchaser of the license or any other party for any damages, loss or other costs that are incurred directly or indirectly from images supplied, or failure to supply any image.

Pricing information

Our prices are based on the standards of the Worldwide market. Our administrative costs depend on the scope of work. USD 100.00 per order is the minimum, including research and / or sending of previews. Simple inquiries that do not require research work and the delivery of previews are free of charge.

Personal use by students for school and college projects
Please feel free to copy images from my web site for use in printed work without charge, but do not copy images onto another web page. No need to ask, but an acknowledgement would be appreciated. Any other image request will be treated as per our standard terms and conditions.

Supply of images

Standard Image Size and Resolution
The image you will receive from us has the following characteristics:

JPEG format
Print Dimensions at 300 DPI: 6" x 4" or according to your specifications
RGB Color
Compressed image size: 240K
Pixel Dimensions: 1770 x 1164
Note: Image sizes and pixel dimensions are approximate and vary from image to image.

High resolution Image Files
We can scan the original slides and retouch as necessary to remove marks. We will e-mail or ftp the images to you in the following format:

File type: High quality JPEG (.jpg) or TIF (.tif)
File size: According to your specifications
File size uncompressed: Varies
RGB Color / CMYK Color - According to your specifications
Dimensions: According to your specifications
Resolution: Your choice of 72 dpi or 300 dpi

High quality duplicate slides
We can get high-quality duplicates made from our original 35mm slides. These slides will have all the relevant captions on the label on each slide. The cost for each duplicate slide is USD 5.00 in addition to the negotiated photographic rights. Minimum order is 10 slides and additional shipping and handling costs apply.

Taxes

International customers are exempt from all Canadian taxes, but are responsible for their own country's customs charges and import taxes.

Canadian customers add 7% G.S.T. and British Columbia customers also add 7.5% P.S.T. to the order

Shipping & Handling

We deliver the images to an ftp site of your specifications or as an e-mail attachment for free.
Should you wish to have the images on a disk or in the case of slide orders, additional shipping and handling costs will apply. We normally ship through Canada Post or FEDEX worldwide at an additional cost, depending on your needs. Please contact us for details.
